ELIP: Reference Ellipsoid
This record specifies a reference ellipsoid to be used in GeoLab computations.
A reference ellipsoid is an ellipsoid of revolution (generated by rotating an ellipse about its minor axis) that is used as a mathematical representation of the Earth's surface. Coordinates of points with respect to a reference ellipsoid are specified as the ellipsoidal latitude, ellipsoidal longitude, and ellipsoidal height.
